At Kindred we are passionate about supporting people in the days and weeks after growing their families.

We provide Postnatal Doula Support via flexible packages.

Meet Doireann, Kindred’s founder.

I am a Doula and Antenatal & Postnatal Educator with specialisms in community building and inclusive practice that I have built up in 15 years working in the community sector.

I’m from Dublin. I have lived in and around East Oxford for nearly 20 years, working in social justice organisations, and putting down roots in this city.

I have birthed my two babies in Oxford. On my journey into parenthood I experienced two very different types of birth, and two very different postpartums. I learned what support and education served me, what didn’t, and what I felt was missing in our community. Inspired by this, I now work as a postpartum doula and educator, alongside my charity sector work.

I am also a yoga and meditation teacher and bring tools from these practices into my birth work. At the heart of my practice in all of my work is fostering inclusivity and supporting individual and community resilience.
